NEW YORK, New York, October 17, 2021 — Waystar Royco today announced that the United States Department of Justice has opened an investigation into alleged complaints with its Brightstar Cruises business.

Waystar Royco has been cooperating with the DOJ in its review of this issue and while we dispute the allegations in the complaint, we cannot comment further on pending litigation.

During this investigation, Gerri Kellman, most recently General Counsel, has been appointed as Interim CEO, effective immediately.
